Great professionals and wonderful people!

In order to provide everything we have on offer we have got together a great team of professionals from theatre and education to marketing, sales and admin. Without them it would be impossible to continue bringing high quality theatre in English to all corners of the world.

All our actors are native/bilingual English speakers from the United Kingdom, Europe and the USA. They have experience in theatre and education as well as a huge enthusiasm for bringing their knowledge and talent to the audience. Meet the team from each area:

Lisa Krosnicki

Lisa was born in Wisconsin, USA, where she graduated with a degree in Theatre, and is certified in the Montessori method of education. She is the Director of Face 2 Face Summer Camp and the Acting Academy, English language theater workshops. She has over 15 years of experience performing children’s theater with Face 2 Face Theatre Company, and acting in the most memorable plays such as: Drockula, A Christmas Carol, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, A New York Fairy Tale, Titanic, Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde and Murder on the DisOrient Express. Which one is your favorite?

Paolo Abbate

Born in Washington, D.C., this ribbed stripling began performing in the hospital at the age of three days when he switched cribs with another baby to get another round of suckling. Since then he has had a dazzling career, wowing audiences at the Tuscaloosa Community Memorial Center and the Fairfax County Agricultural Fair. Fame forced him to flee the maddening crowds of American admirers for a more sober life of the pastoral people of the Iberian plateau. At some point in his career he earned a degree in English literature, in addition to graduating from acting school. He has been in Spain for over 10 years performing with Spanish companies as well as teaching English. In 1997 she founded the Up Front Theatre Company in Valencia with Stephane Shaw, performing in English for English language students around Spain. After more than 500 successful performances with Up Front, the two have undertaken a “new and improved” company called Face 2 Face, based in Madrid.

Stephane Shaw

Born in Paris, raised in London, and a resident of Spain for the past three decades, this true European has been working in theatre for many years. After studying at Oxford University, he moved to Spain to impart his inexhaustible knowledge of the English language to Spanish students of all ages. However, he was quickly recruited by an English language theatre company (Moving Parts) and has not looked back since. Over the years he has worked with several professional English speaking companies. This invaluable experience was of great help when he founded the Up Front Theatre Company in 1997, which toured Spain for three years creating an excellent reputation for itself. He then returned to Madrid to undertake yet another project: Face 2 Face Theatre Company.

Michelle Botwood

Michelle grew up on the South coast of England before she fled the nest to embark on her studies. Since graduating from acting she has performed across the globe in Canada, Japan, Italy, Turkey and of course, Spain. Michelle arrived in Spain in 2010 and thanks to touring with Face2Face, knows the country better than most Spaniards! Outside of acting, Michelle enjoys cycling, gardening, eating and sleeping.

Mercedes Clavero

Grace Nicholls

Grace was born in England, where she began her career, starring and directing her brothers in the wacky Christmas plays she wrote as a child! Since then, she has trained in musical theater at LSMT, Arts Educational School London and Read Dance and Theatre College. As well as acting and speaking languages, she enjoys teaching English, singing, dancing and playing guitar. Grace has performed in pantomimes, musicals, workshops, Shakespeare plays, cabarets, concerts and short films in the UK and Spain and is very excited to be participating in summer camp with Face2Face this year bringing together her passion for theater and education! Since then she has seen the company grow with her invaluable input of ideas and good work. She has spent the last 5 years working in the most prestigious theatres in Madrid. Other interests include making oil paintings and playing the drums.

Anastasia Mosharova

Anastasia trained as an actress at The Actor Works (London) and MXAT (Moscow). Graduating in 2009, she has since worked on a variety of short film projects and stage productions in London and Madrid, including several national tours with Face2Face. She also has 10 years of experience as a children’s entertainer and drama workshop leader, as well as dabbling in writing and photography.

Kyle Lamm

Kyle grew up with a natural passion to make his friends and family laugh with glee. “Laughter is the best medicine” is definitely the mantra he lives by. But his funny bone isn’t the only “fun” thing about him. He loves trying new and exotic foods from around the world and challenging people to a game of chess in his free time.

Margot Navellou

This British/French actor was born in the famous film festival town of Cannes, France and educated in Hong Kong, Cyprus, France, India and Canada, where she received her BA in English and Theatre from McGill University in 2012. After graduating, Margot became an English teacher for a full 6 weeks in Bristol, UK, before deciding that the stage was the only place for her. She hasn’t looked back since. Margot is delighted to be part of the Face2Face family.

Magdalena Galcaran

Magdalena is an actress and dancer who trained at the Cristina Rota School of Acting and the London Actors Studio. She has been entertaining her family with daily living room performances since the age of two. At twelve, she began performing in musical theatre in Uruguay, taking on roles that ranged from Timon in The Lion King to Miss Trunchbull in Matilda. She is currently working as an actress for Face 2 Face in Madrid.

Javiera Bianchetti

Javiera is a talented actress and singer who has come to Face 2 Face from Viña del Mar, Chile. Her passion for the arts led her to cross the ocean to study at the TAI School in Madrid. Off stage, she is a lover of music, musical theatre, comedy, improvisation and anything to do with chocolate. She also has a peculiarity that characterises her: you will never see her wearing matching socks.

Maite Baraybar

Maite is an actress, clown, and director. She graduated from the École Internationale de Théâtre Jacques Lecoq in Paris and the Real Escuela Superior de Arte Dramático (RESAD) in Madrid. She has lived and studied in several countries, including Peru and Brazil, where she also worked as a clown with Circus Vagalume. She currently works as an actor at Face 2 Face.

Luca Criscuolo

Luca is a multidisciplinary artist who has worked in theatre, film and video art. Starting out as a performer in front of the camera, he went on to study theatre performance with a specific focus on the body, non-verbal communication and creation. He holds an honours degree from Rose Bruford College of Theatre Arts in London in European Theatre Performing Arts, and an Erasmus degree in gestural theatre from Resad in Madrid. He completed a master’s degree in film and television series directing at the TAI University School (Madrid) in 2021 and now lives and works as an actor, writer and director between Spain, Italy and England.

He is interested in works that challenge contemporary artistic and cultural trends and tradition, analysing how these elements can affect human lives. Apart from the arts, he enjoys researching and studying philosophy, sociology, political ethics and history.

Lucia Castañeda

Lucía is an Argentine actress who has lived in Spain for many years and trained at ESAD in Asturias. She loves children’s theatre and being able to teach through the performing arts, sharing stories and emotions with the little ones. She believes in theatre as a tool to excite, educate and entertain. On stage, she lives many lives… and all with the same passion.

Ante Vukov

Ante Vukov (1997. Šibenik) is a Croatian actor with a Master’s degree in Acting from the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Zagreb. He has performed leading and supporting roles in productions at HNK Zagreb, HNK Šibenik, Mali teatar, and other companies, as well as appearing in TV series (San snova, Kumovi) and films (Bumbarov let, Malo se sjećam toga dana). His work includes award-winning theatre production (Don Juan, HNK Zagreb – Croatian Theatre Award for Best Overall Production, 2023). In addition to acting, he has experience as a drama workshop leader, dancer and in commercials. Since 2025, he has been a member of Face 2 Face Theatre in Madrid.

Paul Christacopolous

Paul Christakopoulos trained in London, where he began his career performing in the London and Brighton Fringe. His work spans stage and screen, including a role in a Korean feature film and several short films. A lover of stand-up comedy, science fiction, and MAD magazine, Paul’s favourite musical is Little Shop of Horrors—which perfectly combines his taste for humour and the wonderfully bizarre.

Manuel Them

Manuel is a 22-year-old actor from Madrid, Spain. He began his journey in the performing arts at the age of 9, joining an English-language musical theatre company. By the time he was 16, he became part of a group that performed classical Greek theatre in Roman theatres across Spain.

He later pursued formal training in acting, completing a three-year drama program where he refined his skills and deepened his passion for the craft. Manuel is constantly seeking opportunities to grow as an actor and is always excited to take on new creative challenges.

Mariví Martín

Mariví is from Madrid and is the mother of two teenagers. She is a dental assistant, but in 2008 she wanted to change her life and joined the Face2Face company. Over the years, she has gained a wealth of experience working in various areas of the theater company, from organizing tours and negotiating with theaters to baking cookies for our beloved actors. She has great social skills and always has a smile on her face. What she likes most is taking the caravan, traveling the world, and enjoying life with her family. This year, for the first time, she will be collaborating in the summer camp, and she is looking forward to meeting the new members of our summer camp.
